In this life, I am a Bajan and Cape Verdean-American man, born and raised in Boston, MA. My personality type aligns most with the traits of a Logician (INTP-T); my Top 5 CliftonStrengths are Futurism, Empathy, Connectedness, Adaptability and Ideation. I am an independent thinker, so I challenge authority when I know something doesn't make sense. I've studied psychology, anthropology, cinema, and business management because I know storytelling has always been essential to how we see and relate ourselves to each other.
Gaps in education, age/experience, humility, and wisdom have left us culturally and socially vulnerable to global catastrophe at the hands of a deep-rooted colonial system for far too long. Decolonization and reorganization is how we as Black, mixed and indigenous peoples can protect ourselves from what is sure to be a Third World War.
I believe we need to build a circular economic standard that radiates from the multicultural indigenous communities living in Eastern Massachusetts to the rest of the country and beyond. Consumer capitalism is maintained by controlling our populations, environments, and access to resources.
Shock Value is about intergenerational education, appreciation and social solidarity through various forms of storytelling for the longevity of Earth-based peoples and cultures. We experience culture shock everyday, why not learn from it and grow together?
My interests include but are not limited to creative writing, science, music, astronomy, food, the supernatural and all things influenced by Black indigenous peoples in human sociopolitical history. I like to think I am descended from gods that walk the earth, but aliens erased their stories and made us forget their names and therefore, lose our strength of purpose. We have the will, the resilience, to save our planet but we need to create the spaces for proper preparation and opportunity.
I will be sending exclusive updates including limited edition merchandise, blog posts, and more!
